Hermit Beach is an illustration in honor of Earth Day to demonstrate support for environmental protection.
Hermit Crabs are crustaceans that have adapted to occupy scavenged mollusc shells to protect their bodies. They have to go through a few of those as they grow and during that process, they can move into trash left at beaches like plastic bottles and containers.
